Woodbury, Salt Fork, or ??

Discussion in 'Ohio Bowhunting' started by cap, Sep 15, 2012.

  1. Looking for some advice on some of the public lands around NE and east central Ohio. I moved here last fall and didn't get a chance to hunt much with a new baby. I did manage to get out a few times during spring turkey season, mostly.around Clendening Lake. Would my time be better spent learning Woodbury, Salt Fork, or some of the smaller properties around some of the lakes. I live about 20 miles south of Canton, and the larger areas are about 45 minutes. How hard do these areas get hit during archery season? Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.

I would take a look at Egypt Valley. Very large tracts with minimal bow pressure.
