Erie Tribs

Knockoff,

I was just down at the Rocky and it's beginning to crest it's banks in a couple of spots and it's still raining. All of the other tribs are blown too. If it quits raining soon, the Rocky or the Chagrin may be fishable by late Friday. Check back in a day or two and I will give you an update on the situation. Sorry for the bad news.

Happy New Year,
Wes

You'll be very lucky to get levels in the Chagrin down by Saturday. The feeder goin into it are flowin hard. It's supposed to rain through Wed. night.

Way to go Knockoff. It's amazing the distances we travel for steel.

Last year, I logged over 20.000 miles just chasing fish...lol

I just took a look at the Ohio flows and couldn't believe how fast and high the rivers get. You guys must have received a ton of rain.

I don't think there will be much in the way of steelheading going on this weekend, maybe in the smaller tribs and criks but that even doubtful.
The rain wasn't really our biggest problem down here, the rain coupled with the 6+ inches of melting snow is what really did us in.All needs to be taken in stride i guess,

Thanks for the reply Jeff!

I've been keeping an eye on the USGS gauges, the V and Chagrin are falling steadily. There may be hope yet!

We changed our plans to Sunday for the Rocky, I'm hoping to get an eyewitness report Saturday. Anybody who can help us out it would be appreciated.:)
