I'm going to be doing some saugeye fishing on the GMR, and was wondering what the best lures would be? I usually go with 1/4oz spoon or curly tail grubs. How are crankbaits for ice-out conditions?

I usually try everything in the tacklebox until I can find something that works. George, if you like inline spinners, try Vibrax Minnow Spins. They work pretty well.

Erie's got it

jig/twisters.that's the standard in most tailwaters and streams(also my favorite),but don't be scared to try minnow type baits(rapalas)and jerks;)they can be a hot ticket at times.
