I was going to post this in politics, but my first reaction when reading it was to laugh, so I posted it in comedy. I heard the inmate actually won in 8 counties in the state.

Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas got 4 out of every 10 votes in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary.

The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Texas for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999. Obama received 59 percent of the vote to Judd's 41 percent.

The funniest part is that an imprisoned convicted felon can still get on a ballot in WVa. Didn't Trafficant try that in Youngstown once?

Judd also finished 3rd in the 2008 Democratic Presidential Priimary.

I still say that Shep Smith was absolutely right about how weird politics is...
