Tried my new toy out today

went up to do a little fishing in the Ohio River today and decided to try out my Christmas toy. Did about a dozen cast with my new Penn 525 mag on a 12 foot Ocean Master, and it was almost laughable. I gave no effort at all out of fear I'd backlash and sent it about 80 yards. When i put a little energy into it I was sending 2 and 3 oz into waters I'd never fished before. I cannot wait for the new season to start catfishing. Hey Mrfish, what did you pay for that 7000c4 lever drag? i saw it in the new Catfish Connection for $123.
