After missing the first week in Tennessee, and the second week dealing with insurance adjusters and contractors, I’ve hit it pretty hard this week. I was surrounded by jakes most mornings. Four jakes that gobbled like 2 year olds, kept me from one of my spots, at the first call here they’d come! This morning I was able to avoid the 2 jakes that I watched run a long beard out of a field. He only gobbled one time but that was one time to many!!!! With construction repair on my house starting this week, and I have to be in North Carolina next Saturday, this put a wrap on 22. My best bird of the year!
