I tried a shot at a doe with my 10mm Glock. Didn’t go well. Shot over her back at 50 yards. I’ll be back on doe patrol Thursday with the Ruger 350 Legend.

I shot a decent buck with my handgun a few years ago! A deer with a handgun was on my list of want to do’s! Probably won’t do it again. Carried that thing for 2 seasons trying! Haha but glad I did it!!

I’ll be heading out the bonus weekend on doe patrol. Had some other things going on this past week. I also bought a new Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle in 450BM. Have a Burris scout 2-7x32 scope coming too. Should be a nice setup. Plan to use it on WV bear as well next fall. Keep plugging away boys!

I’m still hunting guys, I have multiple bucks I’d like to take out of the gene pool if it comes down to it,, but I’m holding out a few more weeks for a bigger deer!! Plus I have youth hunts still. Pretty good chance we may win this!!!

I’ll be out in the morning! Had 3 nice bucks on camera at 9am this morning, but I was working! The biggest dropped 1 side last night unfortunately! But I’d shot atleast 1 of the others!

Bucks are dropping antlers fast at all my locations!
I’m hoping something shows up with antlers still worth shooting! Still have confidence one of my girls will shoot something! Just got a new property within city limits!! A lot of deer, but nothing big yet on camera. But I just camera out 2 days ago!
