1st week, and last week gobblers. Lots of good, and bad hunts this Spring. Between youth season and today, probably had 15 hunts under my belt. 5 or 6 with no gobbles. Had some close calls on 2 or 3 hunts, and had a coyote spoil one hunt. Several of my hunts I left birds gobbling because had to get to school by 8:00. But kept at it. Both of these birds were killed before work, so yes if you hunt close to where your employed, it can be done! The two birds I harvest both worked extremely well and gobbled hard on roost and ground! Both 2 year olds.
  2. Congrats on a great season!

  3. Congrats! You sure can see the difference with the greenup between the two pics for the first vs last weeks.
