which length and power are best for throwing flatfish, qwikfish, rooster tails and assorted junk? thanks.
I use a 9' noodle action rod. It's rated for lure sizes 1/16 to 1/4. That pretty much covers the range of everything that I use, including jigs, spinners, and spoons up to 1/4 oz. I can go smaller with jigs, as long as I have a float on to add a little weight.
