Just picked up a farm to hunt in Stark county. How is the turkey population in the county? The owner of the property says in is loaded. Any pertinent info will be appreciated.

deppends what part of stark your hunting i have a farm in the southern part of stark and theres a lot turkeys

There are a lot of birds in here in Stark Co. especially as you get down south. The hard part is finding someone who will let you hunt their property, something I have yet to do. I wasn't sure if I would even be able to hunt this year. My wife scheduled a trip to Disney World last fall and didn't think to ask if I had any other plans on Monday, April 23rd. Yeah, we leave on opening day, hows that for a kick in the nutz? Then, when I get back from Orlando, I have to get out to Washington state to deal with some family matters. I have one day home between trips. Hopefully, I'll only be out west for a week or so and can get back in time to go hunt a WMA somewhere in Stark thats already been hunted for the last couple weeks. Better than nothin'.
