Same in Montgomery County. Don't know if the rain had em shut down or what?? First time not hearing any. This morning was the first morning I never heard 1 gobble so far this season. It was dead quiet. What a bummer

I got a pipeline going 1 way and a powerline going the other. My spot was in Harrison County. I miss it...
Here is the view from inside my tent during deer season:I got a pipeline going 1 way and a powerline going the other.
That’s how it was for me yesterday… hoofed 8 miles to cover ground in hopes of hearing something. Not a gobble. Wild! This morning was the first morning I never heard 1 gobble so far this season. It was dead quiet. What a bummer
Fantastic. Congrats!!Shooting a jake is never the plan for me but sometimes the hunt unfolds in such a way that it is worth taking the shot. The soaking wet bird and time of kill (11:58am) should give you a clue. The full story in a separate thread when I have a moment. 🦃♥
