Great read Corey! Only thing I would add is watch the sun, you don't want to be in shadows, but you don't want to be squinting either. A close up of the bird in the sun really brings out all the beautiful colors of their feathers.
Good tips, now all i have to do is harvest one so i can put this advice to practice
Thanks for the replies guys. I was going to say something about the sun and using a fill flash for bright days but I was trying to be short about it and not get to fancy about camera settings.
Nice pointers. I take a ton of pics too. Deer, turkey, fish, shrooms, whatever. Nice to have that pic album with all the outdoor stuff in it. Good article - have the mods make it a "sticky"
