Wondering if anyone knows a good place in the greater C-bus area to donate the harvest. I've never donated meat before, but was thinking that in these tough times and with a poor crop harvest predicted this year, it would be nice to be able to help put food on someone else's table as well.

Hunter and Farmers Feeding the Hungry. If you google them, I believe you can see on their website a list of donation centers.

If you look at the bottom of the page it will also give you a complete listing of all shops in all counties.

I donated to FHFH last season. Really nice program. Received a few thank you notes from some of the meal kitchens, churches etc that got some of my venison. Really a cool experience. If I am fortunate enough this season, I plan on doing it again.

Anyone know if Warner's Deer Processing in Richwood is part of FHFH?

Thanks in advance.[/QU Go to FHFH website and it gives a list of participating processors in every county.
