Me and Scotty was out checking on and putting up stands yesterday. I was setting in the try pod stand and saw something in the tall grass. It turned out to be a yote. So I told Scotty to walk over that way that I saw something else. And a fawn jumps up 10 yrds from where the yote just was. I feel that yote could smell deer in there and was looking for a quick meal.

That's what we thought. But the stand looks great. Pics will come from this spot in about two weeks

To think if you has a rifle with you while setting up that stand you could have saved a fawn and had a dead yote.
