The investigation is on-going, so no details can be reported. The official count is near 30,000---mostly baitfish, but also over 20 different species including some invertebrates and amphibians.
I heard they identified the source and it was an industrial discharge and that charges will be filed. The name should be coming shortly.

it's just a big joke, it probably cost way more money to dispose of it properly, then to dump it and just pay the fine. The place that caused that spill should be shut down for a week, just to teach them a lesson. This is 2012 and we still dump poison into our rivers and streams,like I said it's just a big joke.
