I think this has been brought up before, but I cant remember....My wife informed that someone she works with was bragging of shooting close to two hundred deer this year, he farms almost to 1500 acres in southern ohio...Are landowners allowed to shoot that many????? I cant even imagine 1 person shooting 200 deer in one year, I think he was stretching the truth.

I not sure but 200 deer seems like a awful lot for one person, even if it or is not true i think the division should be informed of this so they can look into why he is shooting 200 deer a year heck if he is haveing that much trouble with land crop damage maybe he could share the wealth here!!!!but if he is just shooting deer because he feels the need then it need to be looked into.Just because he is a land owner does not mean he can shoot what ever and how ever many he wishes.Just my thought,Do your duty as a hunter and help out hunting we all are paying for this somehow.

now im not a odnr officer or employee but as far as i know landowners have to follow all the regs as for hunting hours and bag limits the only exception is that they get to hunt their own land for free
