Has it's ups & downs.....
The up is sometimes it pushes the fish into the creeks from the river, but then the down is they are so muddy it's dangerous to be on the banks.
Crazy year, 2002......lot's of water from Mar-June, then a heat wave & near drought conditions. From mid-March to the 1st of June the river wasn't worth a hoot for striper fishing. Then just as the water was hitting the mid 50's - Brookville & Caesar's Creek Lake, they got flooded so that killed the WB I enjoy chasing after. They were just stating too, I got one here & there, and 17 on one day. Figured it was going to break loose & the lake rose about 6' overnight !
