This was mentioned in an earlier thread, but I thought I'd bring it up again.

I had a quiet bird me and a buddy were working this morning. I was working beyond my friend trying to get him a shot and only heard one or two gobbles, less than 200 yrds, and my buddy said he was going off consitantly. He also locked up in strut and we saw him multiple times like that, but with him being on private land and being limited on how to approach, we just kept changing positions and calls to see if we could jog him loose. Needless to say, we were not successful. This is not the first report of a quiet gobbling bird this year that we have had, and certainly not the first on the forum. Could it be the foliage, or is there something else going on here?
