Pasture ground is some of the quickest to transition into high quality wildlife habitat. In almost every case non-native cool season grasses need to go ASAP. Here in a few weeks you can target only the non-native pasture grasses with either GLY or clethodim. Followed by either burning, discing or simply time. On this site we were able to burn off the dead thatch and give the area a clean start. The result was an impressive diversity of native plants resulting in great wildlife forage and cover. This same technique works great for reducing un-necessary lawn.
