I just noticed there is a section for Out of State Hunts but none for Out of State Fishing. How can that be? :tsk:

Anyway, Warm Water Fishing was the closest thing I could find so.....

Supper in a the cooler, I went down to Golf Shores Ala, a few years ago and got into some reds and specs alot of fun and fine eating.

Gulf Shores is about 200 miles west of where I was fishing in St. Joe Bay, FL. I wasn't much of a salt water fisherman until I got a good taste of reds and trout about 5 years ago. Now I have a tough time waiting from one trip to the next.

I will not get to the gulf anytime soon but i am going back to Erie this weekend. I hope to fill a cooler with some fine eating perch and walleye.

Good luck on the big lake. Walleye and perch are about as good of table fare as you'll find anywhere. And be sure to take sunscreen and bug repellant. It's gonna be hot unless there's a breeze.
