I'm wondering if current State assistant and former Ohio player, Jeff Boals, will become the target for Ohio to replace Groce? :coco:

Everything I have read says Boals might be one of the top choices, but the players would want assistant Dustin Ford for the job. I'm not sure if Ford has enough experience to be the head man, but time will tell.

I'm not happy he left, either, but I can't fault someone for choosing $1.4 million over $500,000.

I do think Ford and Boals will be the two leading guys for the job. With as little (compared to other schools) as OU can pay, I can't see them targeting a higher profile coach. It will almost certainly be an assistant from somewhere, and those two make the most sense right now.
