The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, wildlife Division will be holding Open House Meetings in all wildlife districts on Sunday, March 2, 2003, from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm at the locations listed below. The open house format allows participants to arrive and view displays at their convenience, and then to discuss their concerns with or ask questions of Division personnel.
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER THE DISTRICT FISH AND WILDLIFE OPEN HOUSE MEETINGS WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY, MARCH 9, 2003, FROM 12:00-3:00PM.
DISTRICT 1 - District One Headquarters, 1500 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH
DISTRICT 2 - District Two Headquarters, 952 Lima Ave., Findlay, OH
DISTRICT 3 - District Three Headquarters, 912 Portage Lakes Dr., Akron, OH
DISTRICT 4 - District Four Headquarters, 360 East State Street, Athens, OH
DISTRICT 5 - District 5 Headquarters, Greene Co. Fish and Game Association Clubhouse, 1538 Union Rd, Xenia, OH

These meetings are a great opportunity to meet ODNR personnel that are responsible for managing the Wildlife Management Areas in your area. It is also a great opportunity to ask the ODNR to step up active forest management to create grouse and woodcock habitat on their lands. The ODNR needs to hear from grouse hunters and needs to see that many sportsmen support forest management efforts. I would encourage all of you to try to attend one of these open houses.
