Floated 7.4 miles of river today and caught a new personal best river smallie(twice actually). I caught 15 smallies and my buddy caught 20. He got a 17"r as his biggun. I got 3 bigguns as I boated a 17"r, a 18.25"r and a 18.50"r. I caught all my fish on a charteruesse/white 3/8 oz spinnerbait. Fish were relating to any wood near/around current and depth. My buddy was throwing a white spinnerbait, Mepps and a small swim bait.

I usually don't name the flow that I fish. Though, I will say this one was in north-central Ohio.

Those smallmouth are beautiful fish. Nice job!

Good job critter. I waded the Darby over the weekend and ended up with 12 smallies and a gar. All were caught on a craw colored pig and jig. Biggest smallie was over 3 pounds and 21". Real nice smallie for the Darby. Couple of them were right at 2 pounds and the rest were 1-1.5 pounds.
