I figured starting a daily thread about"This Day In History" would be good so some folks can learn something,and others can possibly reminiscence..

I will pick one event or thing each day that I HOPE will interest some/most folks..Everything ranging from American revolution,automotive,civil war,cold war,crime,disasters , general interest,Hollywood,literature,music,old west,presidential,sports,
Vietnam Nam war,World War I and World War II ...
