[california killer]

I live in california but go back to my dads cabin we built in jackson county deer hunting every year. My dad and i have always wanted to hunt wild pigs but not much of it out here on the west coast.....at least near where we are.

i have looked around a bit and have found there are several private ranches near jackson that you can go hunt.. i was wondering if anyone has tried it and if it is worth the $$$... or are there any public areas to hunt that are likely to produce something near by?? was thinking maybe a spring or summer time hunt...since i see there is no season for them.

any advice??
