Need some advice. I have access to a new place to hunt this year and it is about 80% CRP without many mature trees to hang a stand. There are some 10' - 20' cedars scattered throughout and a few are just large enough to possibly lean a short ladder against. But for the others, I was thinking about getting a lightweight, short tripod and setting it into a / group of trees and trimming out a hole for the seat etc. I have one nice ground blind to set-up too but am struggling to find a spot to see good without doing some major cutting.

In conlusion, does anyone know of any models (lightweight and portable) or have any suggestions / ideas. I really like the Millenium T100 but with a price tag of $400 it makes it hard. Big Game makes The Pursuit which looks pretty good too. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
