No doubt.
Some of the most detrimental legislation has been passed by republicans.

I think anybody making more than 200k should pay more taxes. Not the people that are struggling to make it and raising their kids. The ONLY thing Romney has said that I like is that he will make people work for welfare. I agree that if they able bodied they should be required to. Too many abuse it and it's our tax dollars. I have to get my a$$ up and go to work to have what I have and pay my bills, don't get nothin for free. They shouldnt either. Its messed up when you look at the fact that generations of the same families have lived off it for decades at our expense.

Why do they need to pay more? Shouldn't everybody pay?

Why not everybody pay an equal percentage? Now that would be fair.

Quick break-down (based only on Federal income tax brackets)-

  • An individual earns $10K, they pay $1500 in Federal income tax. Leaving them with $8,500.
  • An individual earns $50K, they pay $12,500 in Federal income tax. Leaving them with $37,500.
  • An individual earns $100K, they pay $28,500 in Federal income tax. Leaving them with $72,000.
  • An individual earns $150K, they pay $42,000 in Federal income tax. Leaving them with $108,000.
  • An individual earns $200K, they pay $66,000 in Federal income tax. Leaving them with $134,000.
Is your belief (anyone who earns more than $200K should pay more taxes) based upon what one contributes (in taxes), OR what one is still left with after the fact?

Personal life

Ryan married Janna Little, a tax attorney,[35] in December 2000.[8] The Ryans live in Janesville, Wisconsin with their three children Elizabeth Anne, Charles Wilson, and Samuel Lowery.[83] Ryan is Roman Catholic and is a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.[84]

Ryan, a fitness enthusiast, promotes fitness as a daily routine for young people. Ryan, whose father, grandfather and great-grandfather all died of heart attacks in their 50s, has said he is careful about what he eats, performs an intense cross-training routine known as P90X most mornings, and has made close to 40 climbs of Colorado's Fourteeners (14,000-foot peaks).[15] Ryan is a deer hunter and he makes his own bratwurst and Polish sausage
That does it for me!!

It is pretty easy to find a few faults and areas where I don't agree with Romney and Ryan.

It is extremely easy to find multitudes of faults and areas that I don't agree with Obama and Biden.

Easy choice for me.

The fact of the matter is there's a handful of people in Washington ruining America for three hundred and thirty million of us. They've kept our nation in a state of perpetual war; and increasing, unsustainable debt. This small group has presided over the elimination of our Bill of Rights, and the systematic dismantling of our freedoms guaranteed us under OUR constitution.

It is them we should be fighting, not each other. We the people will never agree on the small things, but let's agree on the big things.

Our leaders have blown it. if we don't get control of this ship together, and fix it together, we all go down with it together.

But I can see it will be STATUS QUO 2012...Romney/Ryan nor the current admin are not enough for me to waste gas driving to the polls...

Yes as a matter of fact I do look at morals and principles, and with our two options this year it's a no brainer, the fact he's a hunter just makes it that much better:cheeky-smiley-022:

Its amazing to think that people do not realize that the more money you make the more taxes you pay. The country runs on tax money paid by working America, the same with health care. Some people dont think about who pays for the uninsured?....the insured!! Without big business and business in general nobody gets paid...including taxes!! Of course the exception being the unemployed that cant afford to go back to work because they are doing just fine to the standards they have for themselves!! Getting business back in gear and less control from government is a start for sure. Im with Bawana on the point that it doesnt hurt that he is an outdoorsman...and Mossy Oak, no dis-respect intended but if you dont vote, thats a shame.
