The fact remains, Obama has wasted MUCH more then that in his stimulus package. See post about Obama's stimulus waste.
If you are going to say something, say it in open forum. Or do you prefer the backroom actions and rants (P.M. in hunter1's post) like Obama prefers the backrooms deals and "behind the radar" gun control?
You do realize that probably close to 70 - 80% (if not higher) of the people on the site will probably vote for anyone but Obama. You're probably not going to change any minds. In fact, you are probably turning more people away from him by your actions.

The reality is.. haters blow so much mis-information on here its
become nearly impossible for correct information to surface..
Whats worse is haters enjoy the mis-information sooooo much that
they then refuse to believe the factual contrary.
A change in a person is only possible when they are willing to accept

Exactly! When are you going to have your epiphany and realize what everyone else on here already knows about Obama? He is failing as a president and we are worse off now then 4 years ago.
Anytime someone points out a true but possibly disparaging fact about Obama, you will go to the ends of the earth to defend him, even if you know he's wrong. I have yet to see you or any other kool-aid driker admit the slightest fault with anything he's ever done. Do you expect us to believe he is perfect? If not, then tell us where you think some of his failings are. Every president has them.

1.) Bail-outs/T.A.R.P. He shoulda regulated what it could and could
not be used for..i.e...broker/banker bonuses and spa vacation etc..
2.) A Bigger push on Green energy, >geothermal elec. plants and
federal emergency electric grids.. with caps & limits.
3.) Exited Iraq Sooner.
4.) Exited Afghanistan already.
5.) Gut the Military Industrial Complex
6.) Build,Build,Build.. National Railways, Highways, Fed. Refineries
and a really big thing..I like a Gulf to Pacific canal..jobs,jobs,jobs..
7.) Stop the flooding of taxpayer $$$ all over the world..
8.) Tax reform.. maybe 12-18% corporate..10% and less personal.
9.) Fed. Free Lunch programs for public schools.
10.) Fed. medical supply facilities to create most general medical
supplies..and general medications< while we're at it..
11.) All home loans thru Federal banks at 2-3%.. keep banks outta
the home lending business..no more mortgage backed securities.
12.) Harsher Prison terms for legislatures.
13.) Tax all churches and religious org..
14.) Create energy independence by 2016.
just a few things....and more..

Actually... we were facing a huge depression 4 years ago that President Obama saved us from despite the foot dragging and counterproductive ways of the far right.
The fact that so many people dislike him can be attributed to some racism, some because he's not a "Bubba", some because he grew up in Hawaii where many have never been, and some just because he's not the kind of guy you'd hang with.
However, he is very smart, very pragmatic, and able to get things done even with the Congress he's had to deal with.
I wouldn't call him perfect as no President ever is. He does give in to the far right more than I'd like. In the end, that does him no good as the right refuses to back ANYTHING helpful for our country even if they suggest it. They're too busy trying to stop gays from marrying or wanting to know what is going on between a women's legs.
That may be the single most amazing post i have ever read. Ive been to hawaii, i have numerous interracial friendships..but go be honest i don't think we think of it that way..
As for saving us.
We'll have to let the future tell us as we still disagree as to the results of govt actions around the great depression...
The congress he "had to work with".
I take it you remember he had a supermajority so that if 100 % of the right voted against something he still should of gotten his way..the dems stopped him..not us..the. voters saw to it that ended..
As to the right being involved in women..not mandating an organization or company pay for a pill is not saying she cant have it..huge difference..bur one i suspect will remain lost om those not wishing to lose the emotional momentum and distraction ir causes..

Wow trailstaff, I think that is the first time I have seen an Obama supporter actually admit some negatives.
Although some of those you listed, (that he has not involved the federal government more in our lives), I consider a "success" of his. The less federal government involvement we have, the better.
I feel he invested way too much in "green energy". I read it is up to 19 "green" companies that he put billions into that have ended up bankrupt, or scandal ridden.
Taking out Bin Laden was probably his greatest achievement.
He occasionally may do a good thing here and there, but the bottom line for most Americans, is that unemployment is higher now then 4 years ago, energy prices are headed much higher, and we are trillions more in debt, and according to many economists, there is no improvement in sight.
Also for someone claiming to have the most transparent administration in history, he sure is doing alot of backroom deals, and his attorney general is stonewalling any attempt to provide the truth of what happened in relation to 2A issues. He has admitted to Congress he is not bound by laws they passed. He in a sense is claiming he is above the law.
Again, you are not going to change many minds on here in relation to Obama. The above two paragraphs sum up what many in the country see when they look at him. I haven't seen much "mis-information" on here like you claim. Most of the posts are dead on in describing his failures. It doesn't matter that "Bush did it too", which seems to be the favorite response in defending his actions. A failure can be spun however you want too make it look better, but it doesn't make it a success.
I think the best statement I have heard that makes me think of the way his supporters are defending him, came from Obama himself.

You may not, but I've read a lot of posts on gun related chat rooms that support my generalization.
We can disagree on what history will decide was the proper move, but doesn't that imply that a different choice was offered. I don't remember an alternative except to do nothing. Could you refresh my memory if there was another choice of action suggested?
He only had a supermajority in the Senate until Kennedy died early in Obama's first year. Even at that, Democrats are the last ones to ever vote as a block. Of course they often slit their own throats. That's what Democrats have done for the past 50 years that I know of.
The heart of this issue is WHY this medication shouldn't be included in health care benefits when viagra and vasectomies are? What exactly is the complaint?
If it's the pill's use in contraception, then why no uproar over a man's part in the original reason for its use that way? Why is it always the woman's side that needs to be controlled?
I somehow think that you'd see things differently if you had to walk in their shoes for a year.
Speaking of seeing things differently... I strongly suspect that we are closer together than you think on most issues and only want what is best for all of us.
I think that our differences come into play when we tread in areas which overlap religious dogma. That's why it should have no place in government business.

alien-outside entity... Not True...Its Urs..OURS..We say what gets
done with da govnment $$$$ with each bill passed..
Myself, I love the pork barrel spending...yes..I said that!! Here's why,
State legislatures slip in their little $$$ nuggets for projects that
they deligate are important to their states..$$$$ for
their constituents.. Its tax $$$ for American Stuff..jobs,jobs,...
It beats sending it overseas..u see..
Lets look at another tax $$$$$ issue..
What would you like your legislature to do with the bucks $$$$ If we
ever have a surplus...***** I know..Lets give it back to the
ppl...ooops..now prices skyrocket because e'one has more dough!
Just look at history and military areas..
When you enter a military base area/community what do you see..
Jacked up prices..instead of giving the military families a break..
everyone is gouging after that military payroll $$$$$....prices are
10-20-30% higher...
Keep the $$$ on our own soil within reason, and lets spend our cash
on American Made Independence!!!!!!!*****
