wild boar ?

You are hunting wild boar in Zeleski? Is there a big population or just a few?

I just spent 3 days scouting Zeleski for next deer season. I did alot of hiking and looking but only found deer sign. Not being familiar with wild boar, what would I be looking for?
That must of been a rush getting a shot at one!! How big was the pig your buddy got?

He got two pigs, one was a 270 pound 290 pound, he ended up with about 300 pounds of meat, 30 pounds of Bacon and the rest was all kinds of cuts.

What area of the Park did you hike and look for deer signs?

In the three days of scouting we had 9 different hikes. Probably 20 miles of rough country. In the south we did state forest rd, and south of the horse camp. We did a few on king hollow rd, webb hollow, and hunt hollow. We even did one at waterloo wildlife area. All were good with deer signand turkey sign. We were trying to find a place no one else goes. (good luck with that lol) found alot of human sign left over from last fall. I'm not familar with hog sign. So I'm not sure if we walk by any. I quess I'm no help with that. No matter what, you guys will have a good time. There nothing like being in the woods!
