Hit the Oh1o River today

Was cold & had a few anxious moments as my steering was froze & had a real slow crank until it turned over a little. Put in at New Richmond ramp. The ramp was muddy, have to have 4WD or you'll never get back out.
Got no fish, hit some warmer water near one of the discharges- 40 degrees, but the main river was 33.8. We didn't catch anything, not complaining as we could've caught a cold !;)

Jim ...

 Luv your Sig!!!

4 Wheel Drive?? ~ In a few years when you become a old fart like me you'll probably say "to heck with the trailer hassels" & pick a good section of the Ohio River to have your boat at your own dock & bum/swap trips to other locations .. I kinda gave up the grass is greener over da hill & tore into my home waters since gettin' rid of the trailer in 91 ~ still learnin' new things every trip out & probably always will;)

Hey ~ "Whatever makes your Boat Float" :p

Hey........are you trying to compete with the Bouncer's sig:eek: :p

Is that that same ramp that Doc's T was out of? Do they put a dock of some sort in there when the weather warms? That would be a bit** launching by yourself.

Where to start....

Yes...to all of your questions BB !!
They do put a dock out, but I'd rather beach my boat to get away from the ....well..you know (idiots )
Being the hardcore angler I am, we brave snow & ice & rain & sleet to wet a line.;)
Here's what it looked like in the AM (weigh-in) of the T you mentioned.

Here's what it looked like a week before that, when we pre-fished it.
