Went thru basic training in Fort Jackson with Bobby Hatfield from Coal Mountain, WV. Don't know if he made it thru Nam or not. Prolly was a helluva rifleman though

I thought it was very well done. I am not sure if it was 100 percent accurate or not. I enjoyed it although I would not allow it to be watched by younger children or even my gf some parts were pretty deep/tough.

I liked it. Love the era and story. Thought Costner and Paxton were great. Keep the kids away from the TV though- very graphic in parts.
