Fellow Gentlemen Hunters,
I have been doing some searching on preserves and came across a fairly new preserve located just outside of Piqua on the edge of Sidney. I met the guy who owns this preserve a few years ago. He raises game birds as in Pheasants, Hungarian Partridges and Quail. He also has 4 big barns full of Whitetail Deer. His name is Steve Fogt and he runs the Harvest Preserve. I am going to give you all some details but won't go into it deep because it would take up so much room. The location of this place is 13600 Kirkwood Rd, Sidney, Ohio 45365. The contact numbers are Steve Fogt (Owner) (937)492-2730 and (937)538-6082 Hunting Days are Mon-Sat No Sunday Hunts. Hours are 8:00 am till 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm. Cost is 40.00 per person for pheasant and this includes 1 hen and 1 rooster and additional roosters are 14.00 and hens are 12.00 Hungarian Partridge hunts are 38.00 and this includes 2 hungarian partridges and any additional partridges you might want to purchase is 12.00 and quail you purchase is 7.00 a peice. One thing I like is if you do any of the hunts lets say the pheasant hunt and you only pay the 40.00 for 2 birds one rooster and one hen and in the 4 hours you are hunting you happen to kill an extra bird that is in the field, you do not pay extra for that bird because it was left from another hunt. I just wanted to let all of you know about this place in case you are interested in putting your dog on some birds at the end of the season. Take Care Everyone and I hope this helps you out.
