hey guys. i live in va and will be hunting ohio for the first time this year. i have a just under 300 acres i will be hunting just outside of kimbolton in guernsey. i'll be up there next weekend to scout but i was just wondering when the acorns start to fall up there? if they haven't started already? and how is the hunting in that area? what kinda bucks should i expect to see? the property is just off plainfield rd if anyone is familiar with that area. anyone seen any big deer in this area? any info/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Drove past a soy been feild in plainfeild and seen a monster buck the other day. I live about 5 to 6 miles up the road

The acorns are just starting to fall, although they are not where they need to be ripeness wise. The oaks seem to have about the same harvest potential as last year / very small size and harvest. Not sure if it is a result from the mini drought or like last year maybe the winter will not be that bad
