I have found a lot of info on this site and have been practicing calling for months. Even with all of this info I don't feel very confident about getting my first bird. Where are some good places around Lorain County to turkey hunt and any other tips would be greatly appreciated:) Thanks;)

Scout away

Best thing I can tell ya is to scout as much as you can. Line up permission and check areas in the morning, or park nearby and listen for gobbling. If you have a bird located, your over halfway there! If you see birds in a field edge, get there early and get a good setup. Good luck, I've been after them a lot of years and calling has been the least of my worries. Be. Sure to share the pics when you get him.
