With the spring starting early this year is that going to help jump-start antler growth.

Young plant growth = tender high nuti. food which = better antler growth/heathy doe and fawns..

Lets hope we don't get a drought this year...

Anybody agree?

I think every animals body cycle is regulated by the amount of light thru the retina of the eye like sheep horses chickens and alot of the domesticated live stock. So it will be interesting this fall to see what happens.

I saw a buck back before turkey season when I was setting up a ground blind. He was coming through a cut cornfield with 2 does. I told my buddy to check him out. When he was a good distance out he looked like he hadnt shed his rack, but when he got closer we could see he was in velvet. He had a lot of growth for mid April and will no doubt be a shooter.
