Deer feed

  1. Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever used carrots? I'm from Michigan and I have a lot of Carrot farms around me and would like to use them instead of corn. I'm heading down next weekend to put out my cameras. Any info would be great. Thanks...

  2. They prefer the corn down here. Around the columbus area I have tried carrots, sugar beats, appleas and corn. In the same pile, they didn't touch the carrots or sugar beats for at least a month. A five gallon bucket of apples would be gone in a couple days. 50lbs of corn, gone over night.

  3. It's what they are use to. In Mich. With beets and Carrot farms all over the place. Deer there are use to it. Around Ohio corn is the big dog. .

    The one and only.
  4. Thanks guys. That's what I figured but I thought I would ask just to save some money...
