i live in south-east ohio i thought the 3 deer limit was a good number. if you go out some of the back roads around here you would see at least 30 deer. i like to see them but i drive for a living, and hitting a deer in the morning puts me behind all day. and with not being paid the hour it cost me time. a 11hour day turns in to a 15 hour day. deer are heave here and the limit will help thin them out. more deer you have the smaller they will be. look at the deer in Wva. they look like dogs they are so small. i dont want that to happen around here. i would have no problem if the deer herd was weak but deer are strong in numbers and will only be contoled by keeping a 3 deer limit.

I think the only areas in SE Ohio that the numbers are weak are on the public areas, I've been seeing deer all over the place on private ground.

no i didn't hear about rmef.public land in se ohio may as well be private land because of the way its broken up.deer do not know boundries especially in archery season and better yet the 1st part of archery season.it is as good if not better than some of the private lands.i hunt both and really have no preference.
