Custom rod building

Does anybody here build their own rods? I would like to build some custom crappie rods. Janns tackle is where I will purchase the blanks and parts from. Any tips? Also noticed they sell kits. How is the quality? Thanx LakeRaider:""

I haven't done it but have wanted to get into it. Someday I will.

I don't have any tips, but , here's a great site I go to that has a lot of info on it.
