Shows us your pictures of different color phase turkeys either trail cam or birds that you have shot. From dark to light and anything just a bit unusual.

These 2 jakes showed up on trail cam this week. I thought I might have seen them on my neighbor's 2 doors down a week ago but otherwise I have not seen them on my place with my own eyes. I most likely won't shoot a jake (subject to variability of circumstances LOL) so it will be interesting to see if they make it through the season. There is lots of hunting pressure in my block including mr bluedog. 馃槀 馃槀 馃槀

Beautiful smokey grey phase birds! The most common of color phase turkeys. Only 5% of any color phase are gobblers, so...pretty rare! Would make an incredible mount!

Not only would it make a great mount , but those young birds are more tender to eat than an old Tom . So I hear anyways .
