For the last few years I’ve made a yearly thread with all my outdoor adventures and projects rolled into one, and I always start it off around this time of year.

I’ve been shed hunting moderately hard but it’s been slow, I’m at 12 on the year and I’ve scoured most of my good properties pretty heavily.

I’ll share the occasional picture or video or story here every week or so.

We got lots of things planned this year, trips to Idaho, Utah, Montana, Indiana, West Virginia and PA on top of Ohio.

Before I get into the shed hunting videos for 2022, I want to post my year end recap for 2021.

I run a Facebook group called “Medina County Hunters”, if your local to that area look it up, we held a year end measure off party for our deer contest. I then recapped all the highlights of my webshow #sbolive season 6, it’ll give you a good idea of the kind of thing we do at Siman Brothers Outdoors.

Weather has been pretty awful here in NE Ohio. Lots of snow on the ground currently and temps are going to remain low.

We havnt had any turkeys on trail cam yet either, getting a little late for them to be showing up at this point. Slightly concerning.

Did some filming for episode 1 of season 7 yesterday, we’re launching a couple new ventures this spring.

The Leaky Jon Boat Company is going to be a fishing webseries hosted by my brother and also serve as the website for all Siman Brothers Outdoors merchandise. Pretty excited to see where this all goes in the future.

We’re also starting an all trail camera YouTube channel titled The Trail Camera Collective.

Season 7 is officially LIVE!

We do a little recap of the previous 6 seasons of our show, and then announce “The Leaky Jon Boat Company” and “The Trail Camera Collective” social medias.

We finish the video off with all of our shed hunting content for 2022, a little action from the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo and some updates to our family deer shop.

My brother Luke Siman is starting a new series on our channel titled “The Leaky Jon Boat Co”.

It’s going to be centered on Jon boat culture and the majority of the content will be fishing related, I’m sure he will get out waterfowl hunting as well since that’s his thing.

Trout camp was a success even if the weather was awful. We had a great time on our yearly kick off to the year! More of a camping and cooking trip than anything because of the weather.

Opening day came and an interesting situation unfolded. We were able to film a youth hunter killing his first Ohio longbeard on the neighboring property.

It turned out really well in the end.
