Does anyone know when the carp will start spawning in mosquito lake I love bowdishing and misses when they spawned last year and don't want to again I love the sport please help if you know. Thanks!

I'm new to the area and never been to mosquito lake. Do they have a lot of carp? What end can you find the most to shoot?

Can you use a gas motor boat on mosquito lake?

I was out last weekend in Michigan and saw them starting to spawn, I would say this weekend and the next will be peak spawn.

Mosquito is unlimited hp. but certain areas may be no wake..
The majority of the shoreline is public hunting besides fishing.
The very north end is considered a goose refuge and is off limits to the public except by special hunting drawings. there is a bouy line across the lake.

2010 carp from mosquito caught it on a jig and crawler never bow fished before sounds like fun I remember north side west bank had tons good luck.

I have bowfished that lake years ago and we always fished the south side but we hunted at night,got alot of carp just inside the weed beds,not sure about the daytime,probably hit the bays as much as possible,try both sides if you have time.

Was on the hoga tonight and the carp were grouped up and rolling on the surface. would have to guess the spawn is on.
