I mostly fish from the shore or I wade and was looking at getting a boat. What kind of boat is best (size/ type) and how much would it cost me?
I would us it mostly for bowfishing but would also just some Normal fishingFor what type of fishing ?
You can't beat old starcraft super sports for vesitality
So does that mean mostly rivers or do you hit big lakes too.I would us it mostly for bowfishing but would also just some Normal fishing
You need a good size v-hull, 16' minimum, walk thru model, like I mentioned a Starcraft Super Sport would be great or a Sea Nymph great lake special.Well I live near lake Erie so I would probably do some bowfishing and fishing around there but I also go to smaller lakes around the area and would like to go to the Ohio river
Plenty stable, they have raised casting decks in them.Is the v haul stable enough for bowfishing off the front or do they tip and wobble alot?
I'm sure they are if that's all you do, shallow water sight fishing with a bow, but if you are going to fish Erie a flat bottom boat isn't recommended for safety reasonsJust wanted to make sure because all the bowfishing boats I see are all flat bottoms
i wouldnt be surprised cream doesnt get one of them...If you like to float rivers or small lakes and storage is an issue, look into one of these:

on a lake or large river but not on a small stream...i think catfishing would just be fantastic from a pontoon...especially one with a cabin/bath...:biggrin:Would a pontoon work well?
