In 2001,we came to bowhunt in Ohio the last week of October and the sign was everywhere and we saw several deer. The locals told us to come around November 10 the next year as that was generally the peak of the rut.So this past year(2002),we came up and hunted November 10-15.We saw about the same number of deer but did not see nowhere near the sign that we had the previous year.Do you residents think that the rut was later this past year than normal? What are your opinions of about the date that you think the deer are rutting best there usually?
