Feel free to make this a sticky in place of the existing thread... it's been a while since I've given you all an update:

12/17/19 Harvest Totals Season to Date

12/17/19 vs. 12/18/18 Harvest % Change by County

Finally, given how we all know the '18-'19 season was a down year, I thought I'd try to compare to current season to the '17-'18 season for my best effort at an apples to apples look:
'19-'20 vs. '17-'18 YTD.jpg

Certainly part (but not all) of the red you see is associated with regulation changes in the last 12-36 months.

What (if anything) surprises you about the maps above?

Can you think of any other views or maps that may shed additional light on the state of the deer harvest?

Nice work! I hiked in Wayne National forest this spring. First time I had been back there in 25 plus years. I was amazed how mature the forest has become. Not the best deer habitat. I think this is a major factor in the decline in the far south eastern counties. Most likely will stay lower unless some major limbering takes place. I wanted to go back down to hunt squirrel but never made it. They were everywhere!
