How are the teams picked? Is it all random or is geographic region factored in?

Yes this is a random draw. I basically list everyone on an excel sheet and use a web-based random number generator.

I'm hoping we can get 10 4 man teams. Spread the word. Lets have some fun!

2012 Turkey contest bonus points

In a continued effort to encourge member to involve youth hunters in our sport we are adding a youth bonus to this year's contest. Color phase turkeys will also get a bonus point.

• Youth Bonus will be worth 2 pts. Only one bonus per hunter. To score the bonus you must take a youth hunter (16 or under) turkey hunting during the 2012 spring season. You do not have to harvest a bird. However, you must doccument the hunt with a photograph of you and your youth hunter and provide a short write up in the youth bonus thread.
• Color phase turkeys will receive one bonus point.

Just for clarification, birds harvested by contestants only count toward team totals, correct? Meaning, if you take a kid hunting and they get a bird, you don't get to count it toward team totals, you just get the 2 point bonus.
