Like always great post, but I am not sure I totaly am in love with the eyes, just my 2 cents,but looks like he is half bleed out and bout to shut them cause he is dying??

I dont know why I just tried to give positive critizim cause the rack is so damn big, that you could put a santa hat on him and he would look great!

Great buck man! Good luck in the coming seasons as well!

I thought the same thing. The eyes look partially closed, but not knocking the mount, just my input. That is one great deer, and no matter about the eyes or anything else, it is a real nice mount and deer.

nice mount . I think he is just giving his( I'm going to kick your ass , if you don't get away from my girls. look ) Or maybe the sun was in his eyes and thats why he didn't see the hunter. LOL

more I look at the mount the more I like it! This is what it makes me feel, I see that deer being shot in the lungs, laying down within 40 yards and looking back at the hunter. This is the last look he gave, before the hunter watched is tall rack bend back and touch the ground.

Kinda of corny, but I really can put myself in that spot from seeing the mount, thats what comes to me!

WOW, Great mount and very nice detail. I can't wait to get mine back, and i'll post pics. I love how the ears are back and the face is great, that deer was a monarch for sure.

Congrats Zach! Your mount looks great. The mass and huge frame puts that deer in another class. Congrats on finally getting him home.

I saw/held those bones last fall. Absolutely incredible is all I can say. I cant wait to see the whole mount.
