good question, maybe Mr Mrex can chime in, everything ive read says they will be analysed as comments like voices at the open house since im sure ive read where they show how many comments were submitted online somewhere
I think after doing the whitetails unlimited survey, vs. the ODNR surveys ive done, that it might be a good idea for the state to out-source surveys in the future!
The thread has 292 views so I would say most that are taking it just arent posting it. I mean if you have time to read through the threads than you have time to take a 5 minute survey.
I went to the DNR page prior to reading this thread and filled out the comment section. The open houses are the same as getting online and posting comments as far as I see it. I won't attend another open house that won't take ?s or comments for all to hear in person like a open town hall meeting. I answer all surveys and questionAires offered by dnr. Hope everyone else does as well. I tried clicking the other link no luck whatever it was. Looked like a bass pro website. Technology and I do not mix....
Don't know if the comments and suggestions are ever considered by the ODNR, it may just be a formality so they can say that they listen to public input. It does absolutely nothing for the sportsman if they are not willing to change the things that are voiced against.
All I wanted for today was to get out of work on time so I could make the 2 hour drive to the open house. Well that didn't happen and I wasn't going to drive that far to make it there at 2:55pm.
To make my frustration worse, my internet went down at my house during Thursday evening's storm. Windstream says it may not be back up until Tuesday. More frustrating is that my neighbor has the same internet as me and hers is working fine. I'm not sure how many more times I can unplug the modem, restart my computer and restart the modem and hope for a miracle.
I'm thankful I put in a comment supporting bobcat trapping last week but I really wanted to comment on more issues. Doesn't look like that is going to happen unless I travel somewhere to find internet by tomorrow.
