Dumbest thing I have read in awhile

http://www.newstimes.com/danbury/ci_13581139?source=rss

I could tear this into a million pieces, but then I remember that it's just not work arguing with some people.

Synopsis: Hunter shoots deer, deer runs to neighbors, neighbor won't let hunter claim and remove the 'murder victim' and is going to leave it there.

We need a stupid tax.

You should be allowed to grab your deer and go. If they stop you, a swift kick to the nards should be excusable. Friggin' morons...

I may be completely mistaken but here in Ohio... if you shoot a deer and it dies on someone else's property... and they deny you access to go get the deer... can't you call a wildlife officer who will go with you on the land and retrieve the animal?

Unfortunately when someone has their mind that deeply rooted in what they believe in there will be little to no way of changing their mind.

However I'm wondering if she has any neighbors that can complain about the smell in a few days....

Well that sucks, but it's not the hunters fault. Talk about bad luck. What are the chances of your quary dieing in the back yard of the CEO of the local animal rights association.

I talked to a warden once about that, and he said he can go and help encourage the landowner to let you get it, but if they refuse still, there is nothing they can do.

Yeah that sucks, especially for the deer. You put in the time, make the shot, and cannot give the animal the respect it deserves.

That's awful!

Hope she doesn't have small dogs, outside cats, toddlers around out there as she draws predators in to feed on the deer.

Wow, I read the entire article and that is one DUMB land owner. "I can't go outside without looking over my shoulder or wearing orange". Unbelievable!

Yeah, let nature take its course. There is nothing more respectful to wildlife, than letting them waste away from disease and starvation. God gave man dominion over all living creatures for a reason.

If she wants to play the "let nature take its course" card, someone need the inform her that man is a natural predator. Hence, our canine teeth, eyes on the front of our head (not the side) and our instinct to hunt.
