Where should I put my blind?
I'm thinking of putting a blind in and wanted some advice on locations. I have two options:
1) Farm Pond, approximately 1/6 acre which is bordered by pines on one half and opens up into an area just clear cut last year.
2) Stream backed up against a beaver dam which has flooded approximately 1/2 acre in the middle of a hardwood Forrest.
I've done a lot of waterfowl hunting down south in rice fields, but am new to it up here. I'm not sure if either of these spots have resident birds, but I'm getting the itch and thinking I'd like to at least take a shot at putting something together.
