I'm new here as you can tell since I posted my intro on the upland page. So anyway I'm from Ohio originally and moved AZ. Just came across this forum and thought I'd sign in and share some stories with all. Like I said on the upland page I used to live in Ashtabula county and hunted grouse and woodcock when ever possible. Now here in AZ it's mainly Quail and Dove. Looking forward to other posts and putting in my $.02 worth.

Thanx everyone. Just found out that there are about 600 left over javelina tags. I'm going out to see if I can get one before they are all gone. I'll let you know what happens.

Welcome, we could use some of that weather you have out there back here. I used to live in Glendale back in the early 70's, it was a nice place then not sure about now. Lot's of good folks here, enjoy your stay. :)

Ohio Sportsman, The Glendale area is changing and it's getting nicer all the time. In fact that is where the new Cardinals stadium is and the new Cabala's is going in.

Welcome to the site. My buddies dad played football at Ohio State in the mid 60's and he now lives in Arizona. I ask him all the time " you miss it don't ya?" And he waits for a day like today where the snow falling all over the place... walks outside and takes a picture of the gorgeous Arizona weather and then emails me a resounding NO.
But, you know you miss it don't ya?

I can't say that I do. I miss my friends and family sure! But not the weather. AZ can be a very fun place to hunt. Here is a picture of a friends bro. Been trying for sheep for a long time and finally got the chance and this is the outcome. Hope this works.

Thanx for the hardy welcome everyone.
To sheep hunt AZ you have to put in for ther draw. Non res usually don't fair to well for the draw. In fact residents don't fair well either. The state only draws 72 tags for Sheep.
